Invest in our future by investing in Progress!

For over 25 years, New Jersey Policy Perspective has worked at the intersection of racial, social, and economic justice, advocating for policies and sound investments to secure a thriving future for everyone in our state.

We ground our work in equity and shared power. We endeavor to bring in partners, engage communities, and put our research into the hands of people and groups that too often are left out of the policy decisions which majorly impact health, economic security, and empowerment.

This year, NJPP is working to make all our offerings even more accessible and inclusive — breaking down cost barriers that have often excluded grassroots and community-based partners from participating in policy briefings, conference, and other events.

To make good on our commitment, NJPP will eliminate ticket sales for all our public events, including:

  • Budget and Brews, June 1, 2023
Networking happy hour and budget panel, with guest Pat Garofalo, author of the Billionaire Boondoggle: How Our Politicians Let Corporations and Bigwigs Steal Our Money and Jobs
  • Progress 2023: For the Many, Not the Few,
    October 18, 2023
Progress 2023: For The Many, Not the Few, brings together experts, policymakers, and community leaders to explore ways to disrupt the status quo and put a check on corporate power. From progressive taxation to expanding workers’ rights and beyond, Progress 2023 will pose innovative ideas and structural changes to build a New Jersey for the many, not the few.
  • What the Duck?!, December 2023 (Date to be Finalized)
The favorite biennial breakdown of the post-election legislative session will return with even more insight, interpretation, and bad duck jokes.

Making these events free will help amplify diverse voices and better recognize the importance of the nonmonetary contributions of panelists, speakers, and coorganizers — ultimately creating space for our partners to connect with a broader network of potential funders, allies, and supporters.

We need your help to ensure that this vision becomes a sustainable reality. Invest in Progress 2023 today to help ensure that NJPP can offer all of these learning and networking opportunities at no cost. While support at any level is deeply appreciated and will be recognized accordingly, contributions of $500 to $25,000 will bring with them additional name or logo recognition opportunities in NJPP newsletters and e-blasts, online/on-site signage, spoken recognition at Progress 2023 events, and other engagement opportunities.
