Photos: NJPP Breakfast Briefing on Driver’s Licenses for Undocumented New Jerseyans

Dozens of advocates and allies joined New Jersey Policy Perspective on Monday for a special briefing on the effort to secure drivers licenses for undocumented residents in New Jersey.

The briefing drew from NJPP’s own research and the experience of state and national partners to highlight the ways in which such a policy would improve road safety and security for all New Jerseyans, while also addressing serious social justice concerns.

NJPP’s Gordon MacInnes was joined on the panel by two distinguished guests: Kamal Esselheb, Director of Policy and Advocacy at the National Immigration Law Center, and Johanna Calle, Program Coordinator for the New Jersey Alliance for Immigrant Justice.

The breakfast event was held at the Historic Trenton Masonic Temple in Trenton.
