Help us help New Jersey’s working families.

Each and every day, we work hard for New Jersey’s working families – the folks who “play by the rules” so their kids can aspire to the middle class. Problem is, the rules keep changing, making it harder than ever to get ahead.

NJPP helps some of New Jersey’s most vulnerable residents – not by providing direct services like many other nonprofits, but by changing state policies to give them a fairer shot at success. Our impact has been keenly felt all over New Jersey – on State Street, Main Street and beyond. Since 1997, we have played a pivotal role in advancing effective progressive policies that New Jerseyans like you can be proud of: New Jersey expanded the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC); increased fiscal transparency; became the second state in the U.S. to adopt paid family leave; tightened accountability for corporate subsidies; and enacted a fairer tax code.

Our work is far from done, and the unfinished agenda is critical to the well-being of millions of New Jerseyans.

New Jersey needs increased investment to restore the state as a center of enterprise and innovation, and improved opportunities for the families and their children suffering the stress of a down economy.

We need your help to make the case.

No other New Jersey organization combines research, analysis, strategic communications and collaborative change-making efforts with allies the way NJPP does. With your tax-deductible contribution, we can do even more in the months and years to come.
