Below is a statement from New Jersey Policy Perspective president Gordon MacInnes on the jobs numbers released today by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

“The latest jobs report is very bad news for New Jersey. With unemployment now the highest its been since April 1977, this report confirms the fragility of the state’s crawl out of the recession. Instead of assuring New Jerseyans that we are over the hump and concentrating on barely-noticeable tax cuts, it’s time to focus on investing in job creation strategies that work. Clearly, the single strategy of doling out tax incentives to corporations is not working. The accurate message is that ‘we’re not back and let’s stop pretending that we are.’ Once the unproven ‘Comeback’ is buried, then maybe state leaders can work together to talk about investment and opportunity.”

So, your answer is to raise taxes on “the Rich”, an absolutely COMMUNIST answer.

Really, have you NJ Democrats NO SHAME?

Covet not thy neighbor’s property, Gordon. Commandment TEN.

To deny that government incentives and tax breaks “aren’t working” is a red herring of the highest order.

DEMOCRATS have chased businesses OUT of this state since the Kean glory days. You cannot refute it, though, as charlatans, you could voice an empty denial.

The hightest-taxed state in the nation! That is YOUR legacy, MacInnes, and you should be ashamed of it.

Once you’ve chased every corporation in NJ to North or South Carolina, where they are, by the way, doing fine, what do you think would convince them to return?

Lower taxes, be patient, and stop your damn fool prevaricating.
