Join Us: Policy Forum on Immigration This Thursday in Montclair

September 10th, 2013  |  by  |  Published in Blog, Economic Opportunity

immreformWhat would federal immigration reform mean for New Jersey? And why is the Garden State falling behind deep red states like Oklahoma, Texas and Utah when it comes to providing educational opportunities to striving – yet undocumented – students?

These are a few of the questions I’ll tackle this Thursday evening in Montclair at a policy forum put together by our friends at BlueWaveNJ. I hope you’ll be able to join us.

The event, which also features Giancarlo Tello of the NJ DREAM Act Coalition, is free, but BlueWave requests you register if you’d like to attend (the form is available by clicking here).

The Details: Immigration Policy Forum, Thursday, September 12 at 6:30 pm, United Way of Montclair, 60 S. Fullerton Avenue.
